Small children often want to and have the capacity to help with activities in the home. Older children, on the other hand, are not always receptive to help from younger siblings. When battling illnesses, however, everyone needs help. In dire situations, even the youngest member of the family has the potential to offer life-saving help.

This book was inspired by events that took place in the lives of the Gray kids and is intended to inspire families dealing with life-threatening illnesses as well as young children who want to help.
